First off a massive THANK YOU to all those who appeared (like magic) at our Western gig on Saturday. Your support was much appreciated. With the live EP now doing the rounds Final Coil are preparing new songs (now that Leaving hell is firmly in the set), a new EP (the first full band EP since 2006) and a second live recording. We also have new gigs announced and are heavily preparing for the awesome all-day Final Coil fest in May. More on that soon. Finally, if you like our live EP please do share it with your friends. It's free so yuo can pass it on as many times as you like.

The Live EP - Final Coil: Live @ The Barley Mow is now available for FREE either from this site (go to the music section) or from Lastfm. Please do download it, share it with your friends and then come check us out live at the next gig! For those who like physical copies, a CD version is available at live gigs for £2.00 or you can send an S.A.E plus £2.00 direct and we'll send one out.

Phil is busy mixing and mastering the live set from the Barley Mow. Confirmed tracks for Final Coil's first ever live release are:
Fuck music V, In flames, Downer, Retrospective, Grunge, Feeble Minds, Fallen and This Love.
More may be added, depending on how much we can salvage from a slightly corrupted recording. CDs will be available at Final Coil's headline show at the Barley Mow in may along with the band's new line of T shirts. There will also be a selection of free discs available on which more later. Final Coil are also set to record a new demo featuring new songs such as Downer, leaving hell, Fuck music V and more. More news on that as we progress.

With new drummer Tom firmly in place Final Coil played a storming set at the Barley Mow last night with a set comprising the best of the old songs plus a few new ones. TRA were also awesome and we were treated to an ambient set as well as a full on rock set. Many thanks to everyone who came along to support. We recorded the set and will put out some tracks in one form or another soon. We also have a few copies of the Final Coil / Resonance Association CD left over and will be giving them away free at the next Barley Mow gig, get in touch if you want one and can't make it to a gig - we'll be happy to send you one in exchange for an S.A.E.

In further news Final Coil are working with TRA, MrsVee and BigDistraction to put on an all-day festival at the Barley Mow on 29th May. More details to follow, but you can expect a cracking day with sets from TRA, Final Coil and more acts to be confirmed. We've also designed some special Final Coil T shirts which will be on sale at the event.

Finally, Final Coil are proud to announce they have a track on the forthcoming Manifesto 2 compilation from MrsVee records which will see us take a place next to such artists as TRA, Scott Fuller and Mathew Anderson which is pretty damn awesome.

A massive apology to those who were aiming to make the show at The Shed, but with Phil lacking a voice we could not have put on the show we'd have liked to and so decided to cancel. We can now announce a new date: April 9th @ The Barley Mow with more shows planned. In the meantime a new recording of Downer is available on the music page. The next show is at the Barley Mow on the 19th March with The Resonance Association.

The first gig with new drummer Tom went great. One new song, 'fuck music 5' was aired (complete with power cut!) and the following band - red cow down - were seriously awesome - go check them out! Next gig is this Weds @The Shed

Well into our month long break, Final coil are learning new tunes (Leaving Hell is soon to be introduced into the set), working with new people and equipment and planning more gigs. In the meantime, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be playing the Crow's nest as advertised. The Barley Mow and Shed gigs are still on.

It's been a hectic month and Final Coil are taking a break from gigs to work on new songs. The last chance to catch the band before March will be an acoustic set at the Crow's nest on Tuesday Feb 2nd @ 7.30pm. We'll see you in March!

We have two upcoming shows for the New year (see gig guide) and are working on a new batch of songs including 'Leaving Hell' and 'Downer', both guaranteed to make the live set go with a bang.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Paul as our new drummer. Rehearsals are underway.

It is with regret that we announce the departure of Martin from the band as he has too many other commitments to make playing with us viable. We are currently searching for a new drummer, and are meeting with someone next week. More news on that soon. We'd all like to thank Martin for the work he's put in, and say that we'll miss having him about.

In happier news, thank you to those of you who have already purchased 'Everything Electric'. If you want to order your copy, then you must contact the band directly. Remember it's limited to 100 copies, quite a few of which are already gone, so act quickly. Details on price and track listing are below.

The new Final Coil EP, "Everything Electric" is available from June 8th. It comes in a Card slipcase with front and back artwork (see picture) and contains 4 tracks listed below. It will cost £3.50 + £1.oo P&p (UK) or £2.00 to anywhere else. We ship our cds in stiffened envelopes to keep them safe. This CD is a limited, hand numbered set of 100 (including any we sell at gigs) so order quickly!
